
Trades Lab is a conceptual school that educates and trains in the four core trades: electrical, plumbing, welding and HVAC. For too long the perception has been that only a 4 year degree will lead to a good life, but Trades Lab presents another truth, that skilled careers in the trades have endless opportunities for success. By being a true member of the community, Trades Lab strives to change the reputation of the trades, breathe new life into the industry and attract the next generation of tradespeople.
The client, a higher education nonprofit corporation, sought to build this concept out in order to brainstorm possibilities, create internal traction within the organization, find investors and create partnerships with relevant parties such as employers, educators, benefactors and passion players. This conceptual brand and strategy work creates a vision for the trades that is energetic, ambitious, future-focused and filled with possibility.
